Status — This profile does not permit a conformity claim. No Lot Verification Record yet. HFGA-TX-US-01 is at Draft status, so this profile is registered as a labelled pilot only and carries no conformity claim.
Declared specification
A profile may tighten a parameter, add parameters the standard does not cover, or restrict scope. It may never loosen a threshold — Grade TX-A therefore means at least Grade TX-A, whatever product name sits beside it.
Tightened beyond HFGA-TX-US-01 Grade TX-A
| Parameter | Standard requires | This product declares | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| Residual shive (% m/m) | ≤ 1.0 | ≤ 0.6 | Softened fiber destined for next-to-skin apparel |
| Fineness (dtex) | ≤ 6.0 | ≤ 5.0 | Cotton-system spinning compatibility |
| Colour (Hunter L*, minimum) | ≥ 60 | ≥ 66 | Consistent shade for undyed and lightly dyed fabric |
Additional properties
Commercial specification the standard does not address. Declared, not verified against a threshold.
| Handle / softness | Declarant enzymatic softening index, method on file |
| Compatible yarn counts | 10s – 30s (see the separate Imperium Yarn profile) |
| Typical blend range | 20 – 40% hemp with cotton or lyocell |

Verification
No Lot Verification Record
No Lot Verification Record yet. HFGA-TX-US-01 is at Draft status, so this profile is registered as a labelled pilot only and carries no conformity claim.
Verification levels, the evidence schedule, and sampling frequency are defined in HFGA-VER-01.
Claims and conditions
Permitted claim
No conformity claim is permitted. This profile is at pilot status against HFGA-TX-US-01 v1, which has not been ratified.
A company-level claim is never permitted. Conformity is a property of tested material, not of an organization.
Claims covered by the standard
Verifiable under HFGA-TX-US-01 and included in a verification check.
- No PFAS — Clause 7. Total organic fluorine < 20 mg/kg.
- No pesticides beyond EPA tolerance for hemp — Clause 7. QuEChERS panel; products lacking an EPA hemp label are not permitted.
Declarant claims not assessed by HFGA
These are the declarant's own claims. They fall outside the scope of HFGA-TX-US-01 and HFGA has neither tested nor endorsed them. They appear here for completeness and are not part of any conformity claim.
- 95% less water than cotton — Declarant lifecycle assessment. Water use is outside the scope of HFGA-TX-US-01.
- No microplastic shedding — Declarant position, inherent to a cellulosic fiber. Shedding behaviour is a finished-fabric property; not assessed at fiber stage.
- No endocrine-disrupting chemicals — Declarant process declaration. Clause 7 covers PFAS, pesticides, formaldehyde, heavy metals and Cr(VI) — it does not test an endocrine-disruption panel.
